Abstract
In this study named “The study of the Tune "Sûzinâk" Works composed and written by Ârif Ataergin, in terms of Prosody” Zeki Ârif Ataergin’s life and works were mentioned and its relation with Prosody, Tune "Sûzinâk", Aruz Prosody and Classical Turkish Music was pointed out from the general to the specific In this study, which has benefited from the Survey Model in line with the descriptive method, with the method part, the classification of his works of “Sûzinâk” tune composed and written by himself have been included, then prosodic analysis of the works within this study has been made and some personal suggestions of mine have been included due to some conclusions obtained within the context of the analysis. Zeki Ârif Ataergin, who is shown among the composers of the Republican era and among the composers who preserved the classical tradition; his works “Hüsnün Gibi Nağmende Güzelliğinle Müzeyyen” and “Lûtf Edip Göster Cemâlin Ben de Hayran Olayım” in “Sûzinâk” Tune are in sample status. In the study; the prosody analysis of the works in question was made and it was determined what kind of problems problems the works constituted in terms of prosody. As a result of the findings, it is seen that the lyrics of Zeki Ârif Ataergin's works are written with the same meter and have the same form structure.
