Secondary School Students’ Views on Computer Assisted Mathematics Instruction

Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to expicit students’ views on computer assisted mathematics through Mathematica. The participants of this study were 38 third grade students of three high schools in Erzurum, Turkey. In this case study, data were collected through an interview schedule. Findings showed that computer assisted mathematics instruction (CAMI) was found preferable by students and use of visuals and graphics in CAMI attractive. Also, some problems were detected in CAMI due to length of codes in Mathematica
