Spiritüelite (Ruhsallık) ve İş Ortamında Anlam Arayışı

Abstract




















Günümüz toplumunun giderek
maneviyattan uzaklaşan yaşam tarzı ve rekabetçi iş ortamının zorunlu kıldığı
aşırı materyalist iş mantığı, çalışanların iş ortamında maneviyattan yoksun ve
ruhlarını zedeleyen bir atmosfere maruz kalmalarına sebep olmaktadır. Bu durum
çalışanların hayatlarına dair özellikle de yaptıkları işin anlamına dair
arayışlara girmelerine sebep olmakta, işi ve hayatı anlamlandırma çabalarını
doğurmaktadır. İş yeri ruhsallığı kavramı ve pozitif psikolojiden etkilenerek
doğan spiritüel liderlik kavramları çalışanların bu anlam arayışına cevap
olabilecek örgütsel yaklaşımlar olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Söz konusu
yaklaşımlar; çalışanların motivasyonlarını düşürüp üzerlerinde baskı kurarak
çalışma şevkini kıran makyavelist örgütler yerine, işbirliği, gelişim ve
anlamlılık ile beslenmiş sağlıklı ve verimli örgütler yaratılmasına
odaklanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, modern iş görenin iş hayatındaki anlam arayışı
masaya yatırılacak iş yeri ruhsallığının ve spiritüel liderliğin iş ortamındaki
bu anlam arayışına cevap olacak nitelikteki pozitif katkıları detaylı olarak
incelenecek, örgüt seviyesindeki katkıları ele alınacaktır. Ayrıca, çalışmamızda
spiritüelite, dinden bağımsız ve daha kapsamlı bir maneviyat anlayışı olarak
olarak ele alınacaktır.
