Abstract

In the review basic fundamentals of organic sheep farming and its negative and positive sides were discussed and enhancing possibilities of its percent in the total animal organic production in our country were mentioned. Demand in organic meat and milk products have increased in the world. Organic sheep milk production is generally lower than that of the conventional sheep milk. However, the costs of organic sheep products as sheep cheese and lamb meat are higher than that of the conventional sheep products. The aim of organic sheep farming use lower input and higher outcome than conventional sheep farming. There are many various results of research between organic sheep and conventional sheep products. Most of them are in favor of organic sheep farming. It was estimated that positive results obtained in organic sheep farming and organic sheep products.
