Difficult Revision Of A Bent Kuntscher Nail: Case Report

Abstract

After a new trauma, 35 years old male patient’s kuntscher nail was bent, who has been operated for femur fracture 15 years ago. The kuntscher nail could not be corrected by close reduction. It was removed by cutting through the fracture line and by making proximal femoral osteotomy. The fracture has been revised by a locked intramedullary nail.

Eğilmiş Kuntscher Çivisinin Zorlu Revizyonu: Olgu Sunumu

Öz

Özet:

On beş yıl önce femur cisim kırığı nedeni ile opere edilen otuz beş yaşındaki erkek hastanın yeniden geçirdiği travma sonrası Kuntscher çivisinin eğilmiş olduğu saptandı. Genel anestezi altında kuntscher çivisi kapalı olarak düzeltilemedi, kırık hattından kesilerek ve proksimal femura osteotomi yapılarak çıkartıldı. Kırık kilitli intramedüller çivi ile revize edildi.
