Year 2025, Volume: 26 Issue: 1, 72 - 88, 27.03.2025

Abstract

Ecocentric leadership refers to a leadership approach that places leadership and decision-making in an environmental and sustainability-oriented perspective. This leadership style considers not only the profit of the organisation but also environmental and social impacts. In this study, it was aimed to conduct Turkish validity and reliability analyses of the Ecocentric Leadership Scale. In this context, data were collected from 234 healthcare professionals working in a private hospital operating in Istanbul by face-to-face survey method. With the data obtained, explanatory and confirmatory factor analyses were performed for construct validity, test-retest and correlation analyses for time validity and internal consistency analyses for reliability. As a result of the analyses, the scale showed similarity with the original scale by showing good fit indices with a single-factor structure, thus a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used in the field of health institutions has been introduced to the Turkish literature.

SAĞLIK KURUMLARINDA EKOSENTRİK LİDERLİK: TÜRKÇE GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI
