Adleryan Temelli Sanat Terapisi Programının Bireylerin Yetersizlik Duygusu, Benlik Saygısı ve Anksiyete Düzeylerine Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Adleryan Temelli Sanat Terapi Programının bireylerin yetersizlik duygusu, benlik saygısı ve anksiyete düzeylerine etkisini incelemektir. Çalışmada deney grubu ve kontrol grubu olmak üzere iki ayrı grup oluşturulmuştur. Deney grubuna Adleryan Temelli Sanat Terapisi Programı uygulanmıştır. İkinci grup olan kontrol grubu herhangi bir işleme tabi tutulmamıştır. Deney grubunda 13, kontrol grubunda ise 15 katılımcı yer almıştır. Bu çalışma için İstanbul Kent Üniversitesi Etik Kurulu’ndan 25.09.2023 tarihinde 2023/9 kararı ile etik onay alınmıştır. Araştırmada katılımcılara çalışma başlamadan önce ve sekiz haftanın sonunda Yetersizlik Duygusu Ölçeği, Rosenberg Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği ve Beck Anksiyete Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Deney grubuna sekiz oturumluk Adleryan Temelli Sanat Terapi Programı uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularından elde edilen sonuçlar, uygulanan programın deney grubundaki bireylerin yetersizlik duygusu ve benlik saygısı üzerinde etkili olduğunu, ancak anksiyete düzeyleri üzerinde etkili olmadığını göstermiştir. Kontrol grubunda yer alan bireylerin ölçümlerinde anlamlı bir değişim görülmemiştir. Deney grubu ile kontrol grubundaki bireylerin yetersizlik duygusu ve benlik saygısı son-test düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir farkın olduğu, anksiyete son-test puanları açısından ise anlamlı bir farkın olmadığı gözlemlenmiştir.

The Effect of Adlerian-Based Art Therapy Program on Individuals’ Feeling of Inferiority, Self-Esteem and Anxiety Levels

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of Adlerian Based Art Therapy Programme on individuals' sense of inadequacy, self-esteem and anxiety levels. In the study, two separate groups were formed as experimental group and control group. Adlerian Based Art Therapy Programme was applied to the experimental group. The second group, the control group, was not subjected to any treatment. There were 13 participants in the experimental group and 15 participants in the control group. Ethical approval for this study was obtained from Istanbul Kent University Ethics Committee on 25.09.2023 with decision 2023/9. In the study, the participants were administered the Sense of Inadequacy Scale, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and Beck Anxiety Scale before the study started and at the end of eight weeks. An eight-session Adlerian-Based Art Therapy Programme was applied to the study group. The results of the study showed that the programme was effective on the sense of inadequacy and self-esteem of the individuals in the experimental group, but not on their anxiety levels. There was no significant change in the measurements of the individuals in the control group. It was observed that there was a significant difference between the sense of inadequacy and self-esteem post-test levels of the individuals in the experimental group and the control group, while there was no significant difference in terms of anxiety post-test scores.
