Author Guide

• ANTAKIYAT is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year. It aims to contribute to the accumulation of knowledge in the field of theology and social sciences by publishing national and international scientific studies.
• ANTAKIYAT is published twice a year in June and December by the Faculty of Theology of Hatay Mustafa Kemal University. In Turkish, Arabic, and English languages; Along with original articles in the fields of theology (religious studies and Islamic studies) and social sciences, compilation articles, publication reviews, translations, book reviews, and scientific meetings are published.
• The volume of the article should not exceed 30 pages or exceed 9,000 words.
• If the language of the article in Arabic, a second Latinized bibliography should be given along with the Arabic bibliography.
• Articles sent to be published are subjected to PRE-CHECK, EXECUTIVE SCREENING, REFEREE EVALUATION, and TURKISH-ENGLISH LANGUAGE CONTROL.
• The work that fails to pass through the process during the Pre-Control phase is returned to the author.
• Studies that pass the Pre-Control stage are included in the evaluation process in which at least two referees take part in the framework of the double-blind arbitration principle.
• Articles for which the referee process has been completed/passed through the referee are also requested to include a 150-word abstract and a minimum 750-word summary.
• The Journal of ANTAKIYAT uses The Isnad Citation Style and APA system.
