• Akademi Sosyal Bilimler Dergisi, owned by Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Institute of Graduate Studies, is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published every four months (January-May-September). Since 2014, it has continued its publication life as the Gazi University Journal of Social Sciences. Gazi University Institute of Social Sciences was closed pursuant to Law No. 7141/30425 dated May 18, 2018, and Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Graduate Education Institute was established. Since December 2018, Gazi University Journal of Social Sciences has continued publishing as Akademi Sosyal Bilimler Dergisi.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION 

• Before submitting your manuscript to our journal, please review the Ethical Principles and Publication Policy and the Author Guidelines. 
• In accordance with the requirements of TR Dizin, ethics committee approval must be obtained for research conducted in all disciplines that require such approval. This approval must be included in the manuscript, explicitly stated, and documented. 
• At the end of the manuscript, an Author Contribution Statement, a Funding and Acknowledgements Statement (if applicable), and a Conflict of Interest Statement must be included. 
• Within the scope of the Ethical Principles of the Academy Journal of Social Sciences, manuscripts submitted to our journal must be screened using plagiarism detection software before being sent to reviewers, and the similarity reportsmust be attached to the manuscript files. Studies with a similarity rate exceeding 20% are rejected without being taken into consideration for evaluation.
• As of the September 2025 issue of the Academy Journal of Social Sciences, the APA 7th Edition citation and referencing style is applicable. Manuscripts must comply with these guidelines.
