The Relationship Between Organizational Justice And Perception Of Organizational Support: A Research On Public Servants

Abstract

The public sector gives an important employment opportunity in Turkey like a lot of countries in the world. In turkey, people think that work on a public organization has more advantages because of regulations and ambiguity derive from economic fluctuations. Although this is a general idea, there are a lot of social and psychological factors that influence public servants working conditions as other sectors. Organizational Justice and Organizational support are only two of this factors that affect employees in organizations and they have important effect on employee’s mental health. In this context we analyze the effect of organizational justice on perception of organizational support in this study. Data were collected from 110 officer work in a department of a public institution and investigated by using SPSS 20. The results reveal that organizational justice has a significant and positive effect on perceived organizational support

ÖRGÜTSEL ADALET ALGISI İLE ALGILANAN ÖRGÜTSEL DESTEK İLİŞKİSİ: BİR KAMU KURUMUNDA ARAŞTIRMA

Abstract

Dünyanın birçok yerinde olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de kamu sektörü vatandaşlara önemli bir istihdam olanağı sunmaktadır. Gerek kamu personeli ile ilgili geçerli kanunların istihdam garantisi ve çalışma rahatlığı sunması, gerekse de ekonomik dalgalanmaların oluşturduğu belirsizliklerin özel sektöre kıyasla daha kısıtlı olması, insanların gelecekleri adına bir kamu kurumunda çalışmanın daha avantajlı olacağını düşünmelerine sebep olmaktadır. Her ne kadar bu düşünce genel geçerliğini korusa da, kamu çalışanlarının da diğer sektör çalışanları gibi çalışma koşullarını ve iş davranışlarını etkileyen birçok sosyal ve psikolojik unsur bulunmaktadır. Örgütsel adalet ve örgütsel destek algısı da çalışanların zihinsel sağlıkları kapsamında başta gelen davranışsal değişkenler arasında sayılabilir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada kamu çalışanlarının örgütsel adalet algısının, hissettikleri örgütsel destek üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Veriler bir kamu kurumundaki 110 çalışandan elde edilmiş ve değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler SPSS 20 kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre örgütsel adalet ile algılanan örgütsel destek arasında anlamlı ve pozitif yönlü bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir
