Abstract
This study investigated the effects of the Greek Crisis on Turkey and Greece tourism sectors. The situation of the Avropean and Turkish tourism in the crisis period and the aftermath of the crisis was discussed and the political and economic measures taken by Greece in the last period were included. In addition, the effects on the region, especially on the Avropean tourism sector have been examined. The study emphasized the importance of the tourism sector for both economies and revealed their contributions. The dimensions of trade and tourism relations between Turkey and Greece have been determined and forecasts and proposals have been introduced for the future. In addition, this study has determined the place and position of Turkey and Greece tourism in the world and Avrope, and the stimulated additives created for the economies are expressed in figures. As a result, Greece’s tourism revenues increased during the crisis. Also in this period, good relations with Turkey in trade and tourism have been positively reflected in the Greek economy. Although the Greek Crisis expressed a negative economic outlook, it gave a positive result for the tourism sector. At the same time, it is thought that Turkey has also achieved significant tourism revenue increases during this crisis period
Abstract
Bu çalışma da Yunanistan Borç Krizinin Türkiye ve Yunanistan turizm sektörleri üzerine yansımaları araştırılmıştır. Kriz dönemi ve sonrasında Avrupa ve Türkiye turizm sektörlerinin durumu ele alınmış, Yunanistan’ın bu kriz ile birlikte son dönemde aldığı, siyasi ve ekonomik tedbirlere yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca Bölge’ye özellikle Avrupa turizm sektörüne etkileri incelenmiştir. Çalışma ile birlikte turizm sektörünün her iki ülke ekonomisi için önemi vurgulanarak katkıları ortaya konulmuştur. Türkiye ile Yunanistan arasındaki ticari ve turizm ilişkilerinin boyutu belirlenmiş ve ilerisi için tahmin ve öneriler getirilmiştir. Ayrıca bu çalışma ile Türkiye ve Yunanistan turizm gelirlerinin Dünya ve Avrupa’da yeri ve konumu belirlenirken ekonomiler için oluşturduğu uyarılmış katkılar da ifade edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak kriz ortamında Yunanistan turizm gelirlerinin artması, bu dönemde Türkiye ile gerek ticari gerekse turizm alanında iyi ilişkiler kurması Yunan ekonomisine olumlu olarak yansımıştır. Yunanistan krizi her ne kadar ekonomik anlamda bir olumsuzluk ifade etse de turizm sektörü için olumlu sonuçlar doğurmuştur. Bu kriz Türkiye’nin turizm gelirlerine de önemli artışlar sağlamıştır
