3D YAZICILARLA (3DP) TEKSTİL YÜZEYİ MANİPÜLASYON UYGULAMALARININ YAPISAL VE ESTETİK AÇIDAN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Tasarımcıların kumaş yüzeylerini daha estetik hale getirme çalışmaları tekstilin başlangıcına kadar dayanmaktadır. Geçmişten günümüze doğayı izleyerek tekstile form veren zanaatçılar farklı teknik ve yöntemlerle kumaşa yeni formlar kazandırmıştır. Endüstri devriminden sonra ise teknolojik araç gereçlerle manipülasyon çalışmaları hız kazanmış sabit olan tek şey tasarımcıların tekstil yüzeyini değiştirme çabası olmuştur. Günümüzde tekstil yüzeyleri üzerinde uygulanan kumaş manipülasyon tekniklerine bir yenisi eklenmiş ve 2000’li yıllardan günümüze tekstil üretimi için deneysel süreçlerle 3D yazıcılar tekstil yüzeylerinin manipülasyonu çalışmalarında kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu yazıcılar kumaş zemini üzerine farklı renklerde üç boyutlu yapılar inşa ederek tekstil yüzeyini yapılandırmaktadır. Çalışmada 3D yazıcı üreticilerinin tasarımcılarla iş birliği yaparak ürettiği, proje tabanlı tasarımlar nitel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılarak yapısal ve estetik açıdan değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak araştırma kapsamında yer alan3D yazıcılarla kumaş üzerine baskı uygulamalarının yapısal ve estetik bağlamda başarılı sonuçlar verdiği tespit edilmiştir. Gelecekte 3D yazıcıların direk tekstil üretiminden daha çok kumaş yüzeyinin 3D manipüle edilerek sensörler yardımıyla akıllı giysilere dönüştürülmesinde yaygın olarak kullanılacağı düşünülmektedir.
