Abstract
Entrepreneurship is a more understood concept in recent years especially in the transition from industrial society to information society. In addition, entrepreneurship is the driving force of social welfare. Economic development with entrepreneurship activities, there are situations such as increase in employment and adapting to changing conditions more quickly. Governments support entrepreneurs for the development of a country and also provide entrepreneurship training in schools. In addition, it is seen that there are tendencies towards entrepreneurial activities with the support of institutions such as TUBITAK and KOSGEB. Entrepreneurship trainings reveal the potential that exists within individuals. Entrepreneurs are called the building blocks of human resources in the development of the economy with their innovative and dynamic features. The phenomenon of entrepreneurship varies in every region of the country. This is because the regions are socially, economically, politically, geographically and culturally different. In this study, firstly the concepts of entrepreneurship and the characteristics of entrepreneurs are discussed. Entrepreneurship examples from the world and Turkey are mentioned. Afterwards, the subject of entrepreneurship and education was discussed and a search was made with the keyword entrepreneurship education in the national thesis center of YÖK (Higher Education Council) and 28 theses were reached. These theses were examined and a table was formed from their aims and results. Theses were examined by document and content analysis method. The common findings were evaluated and interpreted and a model was created. In this model, if individuals have the characteristics of being an entrepreneur and they have received entrepreneurship training or incentives, positive and negative situations seen in individuals are revealed. At the same time, recommendations were made in reference to study in the conclusion section.
