Abstract

Upper limp amputations require prosthetic treatment as soon as possible because of esthetical and functional reasons. Patient acceptance is difficult in delayed prosthetic treatment. In the presented case prosthetic rehabilitation was delayed. However, due to the increased aesthetical features the patient got used to her silicone prosthesis in a short time period. In this case report the reconstruction of an upper limp prosthesis was presented and the results were discussed.

Abstract

Üst ekstremite ampütasyonları fonksiyon ve estetik sebeplerden dolayı kısa sürede içerisinde protetik tedaviye ihtiyaç göstermektedir. Hasta kabullenimi, geciken protetik tedavilerde güçleştirmektedir. Sunulan vakada protez yapımı geç kalınmışır. Ancak protezin estetik özelliklerinin yükseltilmesi sayesinde hasta silikon protezine kısa bir süre içinde alışmıştır. Bu vaka raporunda üst ekstremite protez yapımı sunulmuş ve sonuçları tartışılmıştır.
