Abstract

ÖZET
Sinema Kostümü bir senaryo eserinin sahnelenmesi açısından, seyirciye verilmek
istenen mesajın doğru olarak verilmesi, çağın ve karakterlerin kişilik özelliklerini yansıtması
gibi pek çok açıdan önemlidir. Bu yüzden gerçekleştirilecek çalışmada, sinemada çalışan kostüm
tasarımcıların mesleğinin gerektirdiği özellikleri belirlemek, kostümlere yönelik yapılacak
uygulamaları göstermek, emeği vurgulamak, kostüm tasarım ve uygulama aşamalarında ne gibi
problemlerle karşılaşıldığını öğrenmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma konusu, ‘’sinemada kostüm
tasarım ve uygulama süreci’’dir. Araştırmanın kapsamında, kostüm tasarım alanında çalışmak
isteyen kişilere yol gösterici olarak ve sinemada kostüm hazırlık sürecinde yaşanan sorunların
azalmasına yardımcı olacağı düşünülmektedir. Araştırma bilgileri, yerli-yabancı literatür tarama,
internet ortamında yapılan araştırmalar ve kostüm tasarım-uygulamaları ile ilgili uzman kişilerle
sözlü, yazılı yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen bilgiler ışığında oluşturulmuştur.

ABSTRACT
The costume in cinema according to performing a screenplay is important from different
points of view. Such as transmitting the message to the audience, correctly and reflecting the
personality properties of characters and the specifications of the age. For this reason in the
work to be performed, determining the required characteristics of the profession related to the
costume designers working in the field of cinema, presenting the application to do for costumes,
highlighting the labor, and learning about the problems to be fronted with during the process of
designing and applying the costume has been intended.The subject of research is ‘costume design
and application process in cinema’. Under this research, it is contemplated to guide people who
want to work in costume design and its preparation process in cinema and helping to reduce
the experienced problems in that felt. The Research information has been formed by screening
domestic and foreign literature, Studies conducted over the internet, and the information gained
from oral and written interviews with experts who are concerned with costume designing and
applying.
