YÖNETSEL DEĞERLER VE ÖRGÜTSEL SİYASETİN AHLÂKİLİĞİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı yönetsel değerlerin ve iş tatmininin
yöneticilerin örgütsel siyaseti ahlâki bulup bulmama tercihlerine etkisini ortaya
çıkarmaktır. Çalışmamızın 192 yönetici üzerinde gerçekleştirilen uygulama
sonuçları yönetsel değerler ve iş tatmini ile yöneticilerin örgütsel siyasetin
ahlâkiliğine ilişkin algılamaları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğunu ortaya
koymaktadır. Bu kapsamda dış kontrol odağına sahip, statüye değer veren,
başarı ve bağımsızlık ihtiyacı yüksek, güçle özdeşleşen, kendine saygısı ve iş
tatmini düşük yöneticilerin örgütsel siyaseti ahlâki bir olgu olarak
değerlendirdikleri görülmüştür. Ayrıca cinsiyet, kıdem ve ücret değişkenlerinin
de yöneticilerin algısını etkilediği anlaşılmaktadır. Bir başka deyişle erkek
yöneticiler kadın yöneticilere, kıdemi ve ücreti yüksek yöneticiler düşük
olanlara kıyasla örgütsel siyaseti daha büyük oranda ahlâki bir olgu olarak
değerlendirmektedirler
