Abstract

Stres insanların bir tehdit ya da zorluk olarak algıladıkları
durumlara karşı göstermiş oldukları içe dönük bir tepkidir. İnsanlar çeşitli
nedenlerden dolayı strese maruz kalmaktadırlar. Bunları iki grup içinde
sınıflandırabiliriz. örgütsel ve örgüt dışı stres nedenleri. Günümüzde stresle başa
çıkmayı amaçlayan pek çok teknik geliştirilmiştir. Fizyolojik, psikolojik,
davranışsal ve çevresel tekniklerle stres yönetilebilmekte ve
denetlenebilmektedir. Yaptığımız araştırmada bireylerin stres düzeyi ile bir
takım değişkenler arasında ilişki bulunmuştur. Bireylerin öğrenim gördüğü
okulun türü ve sahip oldukları yakın arkadaş sayısı gibi değişkenler ile bireyin
stres düzeyi arasında anlamlı bir ilişki belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, bireyin
cinsiyeti ve bitirdiği lise türü gibi değişkenler ile stres düzeyi arasında anlamlı
bir ilişki bulunmamıştır.
