LOJİSTİK YETENEKLERİN, STRATEJİ - PERFORMANS İLİŞKİSİ ÜZERİNDEKİ ROLÜ: KOBİ’LER ÜZERİNDE BİR SAHA ARAŞTIRMASI

Abstract

Giriş maliyetlerinin düşük olduğu sektörlerde kaynaklarını etkin
olarak yöneten, çevik ve esnek yapılarına uygun stratejiler geliştirerek bu
stratejileri etkili bir tedarik zinciri yönetimi ile destekleyen KOBİ’ler rekabet
avantajı sağlayabilmekte ve büyük işletmelerle mücadele edebilmektedirler. Bu
çalışma etkili bir tedarik zinciri yaratmak için yaşamsal öneme sahip olan
lojistik yeteneklere vurgu yapmaktadır. Bu kapsamda, lojistik yeteneklerin
KOBİ’lerde strateji - performans ilişkisi üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmıştır.
Stratejik yönetim araştırmalarında genellikle ihmal edilen bu konu hakkındaki
araştırma sorunsalını çözümlemek için Marmara bölgesinde faaliyet gösteren
KOBİ niteliğindeki 121 üretim işletmesinden elde edilen 238 adet anketin
verileri kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veri tabanı geliştirilen hipotezler
doğrultusunda SPSS 15 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.
Araştırma sonuçları lojistik yeteneklerin işletme performansı üzerindeki etkisini
desteklemesinin yanı sıra rekabet stratejilerinin işletme performansı üzerindeki
etkilerinde de kısmi olarak ara değişken rolü oynadığını ortaya koymuştur.

Abstract

In the industries which have low level entrance costs, the SME’s which manage their resources effectively, develop strategies appropriate to their flexible and agile structures and support those strategies with effective supply chain management can gain competitive advantage and challenge with large firms. This study emphasizes on logistics capabilities which have vital importance within the supply chain. In this context the effects of logistics capabilities on SME’s strategy – performance relationship have been explored. 238 questionnaires from owners or executives of 121 manufacturing SME’s which operating in Marmara Region of Turkey have been used to solve the research questions which about neglected subject in the strategic management researches. The database analyzed by SPSS v.15 statistical program through developed hypothesis. According to the findings of this research supported the positive effects of logistics capabilities on business performance. Moreover the mediating role of logistics capabilities on the relationship between strategy and business performance has been revealed.
