Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, İngilizceyi ikinci dil olarak öğrenen Türk
öğrencilerin, yazma etkinliklerinde bilgisayar kullanımına yönelik tutumlarını ve
bu tutumların yazma becerilerindeki başarıya olan etkilerini bulmaktır.
Öğrencilerin tutumlarını belirlemek amacı ile 40 öğrenciye anket uygulanmış,
önceki döneme ait yazma becerileri ile bilgisayar derslerinden aldıkları puanlar
ölçüt alınarak eşit yazma yeteneklerine ve bilgisayar tanışıklıklarına göre deney
ve kontrol grupları oluşturulmuştur. Her iki gruptaki adaylara uygulanan
kompozisyon/makale testleri, iki puanlayıcı tarafından analitik puanlama yöntemi
ile puanlandırılmış, elde edilen puanlar analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlar, öğrencilerin
yazma becerilerinde bilgisayar kullanmaya karşı olumlu tutum sergilediklerini,
bilgisayarın başarı üzerinde olumlu katkısının bulunduğunu, bilgisayara karşı
olumlu tutum sergileyen öğrencilerin, yazma becerilerinde önemli bir ölçüde
başarılı olduklarını göstermiştir.
