Mundell-Fleming Modeli Kapsamındaki Trilemma Hipotezinin Test Edilmesi: Azerbaycan Örneği

Abstract

Çalışmada döviz kuru istikrarı, bağımsız para
politikası ve finansal entegrasyon gibi üç makro ekonomik amacı içeren trilemma
(üçlü açmaz) hipotezi Azerbaycan ekonomisi örneğinde 1996-2015 dönemi için en
küçük kareler (EKK) yöntemi kullanılarak incelenmektedir. Çalışma sonucunda
ulaşılan bulgular Azerbaycan ekonomisi için trilemma değişkenleri arasında
doğrusal ilişki olduğunu göstermektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar modelin yeterli
olduğunu kanıtlamakta ve trilemma hipotezini desteklemektedir. Kurulan model araştırılan
dönemde Azerbaycan ekonomisinde üç politika hedefinden hangisine daha çok
ağırlık verildiği konusunda bilgiler elde edilmesine yardım etmektedir.
