The Effect of Inoculation of the Seeds With Azotobacter chroococcum on the Yields of Wheat, Potata and Corn Under Irrigated Conditions in Erzurum According to same researches made
in same Eeast European Countries, inoculation of same crop seeds with a bacterial fertilizer called Azotobacterin, increased yield considerably. For this purpose aresearch was conducted on Atatürk University Farm in the vicinity of well nO.6 using wheat potatae and com as test plants. The seeds of the plants, were treated with Azotobacfer chrococcum suspansion for inoculation. Besides. a mİxed fertiiizer of N P K was added to same plots. After harvest in 1969 autumn, grain and residue of the plants were analyzed statisticaHy on dry basis. It was shown that the yields of potata and com increased sİgnificantly especially in the plots to which Azotohacter chrococcum N P K fertilizer was added. Among other plots no significant differences were found.
