ÖZET
Yaptığımızbu çalımalla, yöremizde Müceldi ve Karasu derelerinde
bololarak bulunan tatlı su midyeleri (Unio Sp.) incelenmiştir.
Her iki dereye ait 1-7 yaşlı bireylerden oluşan 50'şer adet örnekte, en, boy
ve gövde kalınlıkları ortalaması sırasıyla müceidi deresi midyelerinde 2.6610.11 cm,
4.5910.20 cm, l.651O.08 cm Karasu deresi midyelerinde ise 2.92:tO.10 cm,
5.7210.23 cm, 1.84:tO.07 cm olarak bulunmuştur.
Canlı ağırlık, et ağırlığı ve et oranı (%) ortalaması ise sırasıyla, Müceldi
deresi midyeierinde; 17.29±1.68 g., 3.67iO.30 g., 30.63±1.21, Karasu deresi
midyeierinde ise; 22.37±1.78 g., 4.36iO.38 g., 31.44iO.83 olarak bulunmuştur.
Ortalama 1 kg kabuklu tatlı su mUJ.yesinden 230 g et elde edilmiştir.
Yapılan kimyasal et analizinde ise, % kuru madde, % ham yağ, % ham kül
ve % ham protein oranı sırasıyla Müceldi deresi midyelerinde; 13.90,3.02,2.14,
7.60, Karasu deresi midyelerinde ise 13.98,3.03,2.02,8.02 olarak bulun~tur.
Bu bulguıara göre; iki dereye ait midyelerin iru;elenen parametreleri arasında
sadece boylar arasında önemli farklar görüı~tür. Diğer bütün parametrelerde ise,
dereler arasında önemlifarklılıklar gözleTlJ'Tliştir.
A STUDY ONE SOME BIOECOLOGICAL TRAITS AND MEAT
PRODUCTION OF FRESH WATER MUSSELS (Unio sp. )
COLLECTED FROM THE MÜCELDİAND KARASU STREAMS
SUMMARY
In this study the mussels collectedfrom the Müceldi and
Karasu streams were examined. The average body, length and body thickness were
calculated as 2.66:tO.1l cm, 459:tO.20 cm and 1.6510.08 cm in mussel of the
Müceldi stream and 2.9210.10 cm, 5.7210.23 cm and 1.84:tO.07 cm in mussul of Karasu stream, respectively. The body weight, meat production and meat ratio (%)
were found in mussels of the Müceldi and Karasu streams as 17.29±1.68 g, and
22.37±1.78 g, 3.67±O.30 g and 4.36±O.38 g, 30.63±1.21 % and 31.44iO.83 %
respectively. The average meat productionfor 1 kg ofthe live weight of the mussels
in two habirats was obtained as 230 g.
The dry matter, the crude fat, the cureda ash and the crude protein of the
mussels meatfor Müceldi and Karasu streams was alUl1ysed and thefollowing values
were obtained: 13.90 % and 13.98 % ,. 3.02 % and 3.03,' % 2.14 and 2.02 %; 7.60
% and 8.02 %, respectively.
According to the resuits obtained from this study, the only body lenght for
two stream.s was statistically found. BUl the aLi other parameters examined were not found significant.
