Sultan Sevinç Kurt Konakoglu was born in İzmir in 1988. After completion of her elementary, middle and high school education in İstanbul, she got his Bachelor’s degree from Karadeniz Technical University, School of Forestry, Landscape Architecture Department in 2010. In 2011, she was appointed as a research assistant at the Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of Amasya University. Then, she got her Master’s degree in 2013 and Ph.D. degree in 2018 from Karadeniz Technical University, Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences. Between 2017-2018 years, she worked at ‘Polond Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences University’ with the ERASMUS program. She worked as an Assist. Prof. Dr. at Amasya University between 2019-2022 years. She has been working as Assoc. Prof. Dr. at Amasya University since 2022. She has several studies and papers published in various academic journals in English and in Turkish on her primary research interests, which are including landscape planning, landscape design, participatory approach, tourism planning, greenway planning and recreation planning.

Sara DEMIR, PhD., is Assoc. Prof. Dr. in the Landscape Department at the Bursa Technical
University, Bursa, Turkey. Her fields of expertise include landscape planning, historical lanscape
character asssessment, landscape character assessment, landscape ecology, nature conservation,bature-based solution,blue- green

Rogelio Jr Flores is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, under the ‘ATT – Agenda Mobilizadora Acelerar e Transformar o Turismo’ project. He is currently a member of the Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies (GOVCOPP) Research Unit - Tourism and Development Group, the same research unit where he worked as a Scientific Fellow from December 2017 - June 2019. He has more than 20 years of academic, research & development and industry experience in the field of tourism, sustainable development and events management. He has held numerous teaching, academic and research positions as well as project involvements in Portugal, Spain, Oman, Malaysia, Ethiopia and the Philippines. Rogelio has extensive professional and training experience in academic and programme administration, human resource management, events management, airline operations management, passenger shipping operations, travel and tour agency operations and tour guiding. He has involved in a number of capacity development programmes and projects funded by World Bank, national and local government bodies, higher education institutions as well as private companies; and has developed curricula, course materials and prospectus in various Tourism, Hospitality, Business and Event Management programmes. He has also received a number of scholarships, honors and awards; and has organized international events and participated in various trainings, seminars and conferences. Among the prestigious scholarships he received include a Doctoral Scholarship by FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (2021 - 2023) and by University of Aveiro from 2019 - 2021. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Tourism and Advanced Studies in Tourism from University of Aveiro, Master’s degree in Business Administration from San Sebastian College Recoletos - Manila and Bachelor’s degree in Tourism from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. His research interests include sustainable development, natural and cultural heritage, event tourism and destination management. He is also active in volunteer activities about tourism exchange, environmental conservation, education, youth and community empowerment.

She is the Programme Leader for the MSc in International Fashion and Retail Marketing at the University of Chester, UK, since 2024. Recognized for their mentorship, she was shortlisted for Best Personal Academic Tutor/Professional Mentor in the 1839 Awards (2024) and nominated for Excellence in Communications (2023). An AFHEA since 2023, Dr. She has served as an editorial board member for some academic journals since 2020. She was a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of South Florida (2020-2022) and received a scholarship in 2021 for her postdoctoral research on smart tourism. Her research interests include digitalization in tourism, consumer behavior, and tourism technologies. She holds a Ph.D. (2019), an MSc (2013), and a BA (Hons) (2009) from Anadolu University, Turkey.

Dr. Sima Pouya currently works at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Inonu University. Sima does research in Children play area, Healing garden, Landscape Design, Historical landscape, School garden, Hospital garden, Garden for Disabled chilrden, Sensory Garden, Roof garden, Agronomy and Agricultural Plant Science.

Tören, 2000 yılında Şahinbey Anadolu Otelcilik ve Turizm Meslek Lisesi ile giriş yaptığı turizm alanına; teorik, yurt içi ve yurt dışı pratik tecrübelerinin yanı sıra, yüksek lisans ve doktora çalışmalarını tamamladıktan sonra, öğretim üyesi olarak katkı sağlamaya çalışmaktadır. Çalışma konuları arasında, "Diaspora Turizmi", "Uluslararası Göçler", "Kültür Turizmi", "Kültürel Miras Yönetimi" ve "Seyahat Motivasyonları" bulunmaktadır.

Doç. Dr. Sercan Öncen, Tekirdağ Namık Kemal Üniversitesi Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi, Antrenörlük Eğitimi Bölümünde öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmaktayım. Lisans ve lisansüstü eğitimini spor bilimleri ve egzersiz fizyolojisi alanlarında tamamlamış; akademik kariyerini fiziksel uygunluk, performans değerlendirme ve uygulamalı fizyoloji konularında uzmanlık kazanımı gerçekleştirdim. 

Bilimsel çalışmalar,  sporcular ve toplum sağlığına yönelik egzersiz modelleri üzerine yoğunlaşmaktadır. Kas-iskelet sisteminin fizyolojik tepkileri ve çevresel koşullarda egzersiz performansı gibi konularda kitap bölümleri ve bilimsel yayınları bulunmaktadır.

Akademik çalışmalarda, egzersiz fizyolojisi temelinde; sporcu sağlığı, fiziksel uygunluk değerlendirme sistemleri, pandemi sürecinde fiziksel aktivite davranışları, fonksiyonel hareket analizleri ve giyilebilir teknolojilerin sporda kullanımı gibi çok disiplinli alanları kapsamaktadır. Ulusal ve uluslararası düzeyde yayımlanmış çalışmalar, uygulamalı araştırmalar ile saha verisini birleştirerek hem eğitim hem sağlık politikaları açısından sürdürülebilir katkılar sağlanmasını amaçlamaktadır

Ege Üniversitesi Konaklama işletmeciliği lisans mezuniyeti sonrasında öğretim hayatına İstanbul Üniversitesi Turizm İşletmeciliği yüksek lisansı ve doktorası ile devam etmektedir. Kırklareli Üniversitesi Turizm İşletmeciliği bölümünde araştırma görevlisi olarak meslek hayatına devam etmektedir.

Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Bilgenur AK, 2012 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi, Ziraat Fakültesi, Peyzaj Mimarlığı Bölümünde lisans derecesini tamamlayarak Peyzaj Mimarı unvanını almıştır. Daha sonra 2012 yılında T.C. Ankara Büyükşehir Belediyesi Çevre Koruma ve Kontrol Dairesi Başkanlığında peyzaj mimarı olarak göreve başlamıştır. Belediyede birçok peyzaj tasarımı projesi çizmiş ve alan kontrolörlükleri yapmıştır. 2016 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Peyzaj Mimarlığı Ana Bilim Dalı’nda yüksek lisans derecesini almıştır. 2017 yılında T.C. Çevre Şehircilik ve İklim Değişikliği Bakanlığı Mekânsal Planlama Genel Müdürlüğünde peyzaj mimarı olarak göreve başlamış ve birçok projede yer almıştır. 2019 yılında T.C. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı Kültür Varlıkları ve Müzeler Genel Müdürlüğünde göreve başlamıştır. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığında çalışırken ören yerleri çevre düzenleme proje tasarımları ve uygulamalarında görev almıştır. 2023 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Peyzaj Mimarlığı Ana Bilim Dalı’nda Ekolojik tasarım, geleneksel yerleşmeler ve koruma sorunları: Bursa, Cumalıkızık örneği adlı tez çalışması ile doktora derecesini almıştır. Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Bilgenur AK’ın; peyzaj tasarımı, ekolojik tasarım, herkes için tasarım, yağmur bahçeleri, tarihi alanların peyzaj tasarımı konularında çalışmaları bulunmaktadır. Şubat 2024 tarihinden itibaren Kırıkkale Üniversitesi, Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi, Peyzaj Mimarlığı Bölümü’nde Doktor Öğretim Üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır.

In 2007, they entered the Department of Landscape Architecture at Karadeniz Technical University and graduated in 2011 as the second in their department and the third in their faculty. In 2011, they qualified to begin a Master's programme at the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Institute of Science and Technology and received the title of Senior Landscape Architect in 2015 by presenting their Master's thesis entitled "Establishment of a GIS-Based Campus Equipment Information System (CEIS): The case of KTÜ Kanuni Campus". In the spring semester of 2019, they started the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) 100/2000 Ph.D. programme in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Institute of Science and Technology. In July of the same year, they were appointed as research assistants at the Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture Department of the Faculty of Architecture at Amasya University, where they continue to work.

She graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture in 2016. In 2020, she completed her master's degree at Ankara University, Department of Landscape Architecture with her thesis titled "Evaluation of Child-Friendly City Approach" and is continuing her doctoral studies at the same university. She works on the planning and design of livable cities for children. Since 2018, she has been working as a Research Assistant at Kırıkkale University, Department of Landscape Architecture. She has been working in various roles such as secretary, layout editor, and proofreader in the journals "Turkish Journal of Landscape Studies (PEYAD)", "GSI Journals Serie A: Advancements in Tourism Recreation and Sports Sciences" and "Journal of Architectural Sciences and Applications" within DergiPark.
