Sultan Sevinc Kurt Konakoglu has obtained her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Landscape Architecture, Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon, Turkey in 2018. From 2011 to 2018 she also worked as research assistant at this university. She currently works at the Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture, Amasya University. She is also head of department. Her current research interests are tourism planning, landscape planning, and landscape design.
Sara DEMIR, PhD., is Assoc. Prof. Dr. in the Landscape Department at the Bursa Technical
University, Bursa, Turkey. Her fields of expertise include landscape planning, historical lanscape
character asssessment, landscape character assessment, landscape ecology, nature conservation,bature-based solution,blue- green
infrastructure, ecosystem restoration, ecotourism, sustainable tourism, multi-criteria decision-making methods, geographic
information system.

In 2007, they entered the Department of Landscape Architecture at Karadeniz Technical University and graduated in 2011 as the second in their department and the third in their faculty. In 2011, they qualified to begin a Master's programme at the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Institute of Science and Technology and received the title of Senior Landscape Architect in 2015 by presenting their Master's thesis entitled "Establishment of a GIS-Based Campus Equipment Information System (CEIS): The case of KTÜ Kanuni Campus". In the spring semester of 2019, they started the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) 100/2000 Ph.D. programme in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Institute of Science and Technology. In July of the same year, they were appointed as research assistants at the Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture Department of the Faculty of Architecture at Amasya University, where they continue to work.
