Covid-19 pandemisinde uzaktan eğitime geçiş ve dijital uçurum tehlikesi

Bilişim teknolojileri destekli uzaktan eğitimin yaygınlaşması başta eğitimde fırsat eşitliği, dezavantajlı bireylerin eğitime erişiminin kolaylaşması, zaman ve mekân sınırlılıklarının ortadan kalkması gibi önemli fırsatlar doğurabilir. Ancak toplumdaki sosyo-ekonomik farklılıklardan kaynaklı olarak öğrenenlerin teknolojiye erişim düzeyleri arasındaki fark hala önemli bir problem olarak durmaktadır. Covid-19 ile oluşan sosyal izolasyon koşullarının neden olduğu uzaktan eğitime kontrolsüz ve hazırlıksız geçişin dijital uçurum tehlikesinin derinleşmesine neden olduğu tartışılmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, tüm eğitim kademelerinde uzaktan eğitime geçildiği Covid-19 Pandemisi sürecindeki dijital uçurum tehlikesini bütüncül bir tek durum olarak analiz etmektir. Bu araştırma bir durum çalışması olarak tasarlanmıştır. Gerçek durum olarak Covid-19 sürecinde Dünya’da ve Türkiye’deki dijital uçurum verileri alanyazındaki ilgili araştırma ve raporlarla birlikte analiz edilmiştir. Ulaşılan sonuçlara uygun olarak araştırmaya ve uygulamaya dönük öneriler sunulmuştur.
