Estetik Algı ve Beğeni GeliĢimi Açısından, Ġlköğretimde Sanat EleĢtirisi Öğrenimi

Abstract

Sanat eğitimi, öğrencilerin sadece uygulama alanında bir takım beceriler elde etmesini değil, aynı zamanda eleştirel düşünme ve yorumlama becerilerini geliştirmenin yanı sıra, topluma estetik beğeni ve estetik algı açısından gelişmiş bireyler yetiştirmeyi de amaçlar. Günümüzde, yaşamın tamamına egemen olmuş olan imgesellik, bireylerin televizyonda hangi kanalı seyredeceğinden, satın alacağı ürüne kadar, tercihleri üzerinde etken bir hale gelmiştir. Bu nedenle, estetik açıdan tatmin edici bir çevrede yaşamanın bir yolu da, toplumun beğeni düzeyinin gelişmesi olarak düşünülmektedir. 19971998 yılından itibaren eğitim fakülteleri, resim-iş eğitimi anabilim dallarında, resim öğretmeni adayları için hazırlan program, resim dersleri bünyesinde sanat tarihi, sanat eleştirisi, estetik ve uygulama alanlarını barındıran çok daha kapsamlı bir yapıdan oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, sanat eleştirisi disiplininin, okul öncesinden başlamak üzere, özellikle de ilköğretim okulları öğretim programlarında yer almasının, öğrencilerin estetik algı ve beğeni gelişimlerine katkıda bulunacağı yönünde görüşler tartışılmaktadır

The Teaching of Art Criticism in the Primary School in Relation to the Development of Aesthetics Perception and Taste

Abstract

Art education aims the students not only to acquire some skills in the field of application, but also to develop their critical thinking and analysing skills, and to produce individuals who are capable of aesthetic perception and taste. Today the visuality which dominates all falks of life, plays an affective role for the choices of the individuals as to which TV channel to watch and which product to buy. In societies formed up of individuals with high levels of aesthetic perception and taste; an aesthetic point of view can be seen from city planning to natural environment, in the design of the daily objects, and in the street advertisements Because of this reason, one of the ways of living in a satisfactoryenvironment in terms of aesthetics is thought as the development of the societies’ level of taste. In this study it is suggested that placing the art criticism discipline into the related teaching programmes will contribute to the development of the students’ aesthetic perception and taste.
