Abstract
Bu araştırma, resmi ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan okul
yöneticilerinin (müdür ve müdür yardımcılarının) teknolojiye karşı
tutumlarını, okul yöneticilerinin görüşlerine göre değerlendirmeyi
amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın evreni Uşak İli sınırları içerisinde bulunan
resmi ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan yöneticilerden oluşmaktadır.
Örnekleme girecek yönetici sayısı 85 olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma ile ilgili
veriler 2007 yılında toplanmıştır. Resmi ilköğretim okul yöneticilerinin
görüşlerine göre okul yöneticilerinin, teknolojiye karşı tutumları
kapsamında„„Teknolojiyi benimseme”; Teknolojik gelişmelerden haberdar
olma”; “Teknolojiyi izleme”; “İnternetten yararlanma”; “Teknolojiye karşı
karamsar olmama” boyutlarında olumlu tutumlar içinde olduğu tespit
edilmiştir. “Teknolojiyi yönetim sürecinde kullanma” ve “Teknolojiyi
kullanma” boyutlarında resmi okul yöneticilerinin oldukça olumlu bir tutum
içinde oldukları; “Teknolojiye güven duyma” ve “Teknoloji korkusu”
boyutlarında ise kararsız (nötr) bir tutum içinde oldukları tespit edilmişti
Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the attitudes of school administraters and head teachers towards technology according to school administraters‟ views. The target population of the study consists of school administraters who are working at primary schools in the city of Uşak. Data for this research were collected in the academic year 2006-2007. The number of administraters in the sample is limited as 85. According to the views of formal primary schools managers , it is stated that they have positive attitudes towards technology such as : “Adopting technology”, “Being aware of technological developments”; “ Following technology”, “ Making use of internet” , “ Not being pessimistic about technology”. As result of this study, it is found that administraters have positive attitudes towards “using technology during managing process” and “ using technology”. Moreover it is stated that participants have neutral attitudes towards “Trusting Technology” and “Fear of Technology”
