Prof.Dr. Mustafa DAŞKIN, Amasya Üniversitesi, Amasya, Türkiye
I am currently Assistant Professor at Karadeniz Technical University. I hold PhD from the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter. My research focuses on the identity politics of the Gulf. Orientalism, Colonialism, and Post-Colonialism are among the focus topics that I am interested in.
Before joining Exeter, I was a graduate student at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University (2017). I hold a B.A. in International Relations from Abant Izzet Baysal University (2013).
The Middle East Policy Council (MEPC) has named me to its 40 under 40 cohort for 2023. This award celebrates the depth of cultural, economic, and political ties between the United States and Middle Eastern countries, with honorees coming from a variety of professional areas, including academics, business, culture, and diplomacy.
