About

Launched in June 2019, the Ankara University Faculty of Fine Arts Journal (AÜGSFD) covers articles in the fields of Fine Arts, Fine Arts Education, Traditional Arts, Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, Museology, and Museum Education, as well as studies in core disciplines related to art; AÜGSFD is an official, peer-reviewed, and scientific publication.

Our journal is published twice a year, every six months. The official languages of our journal are Turkish and English.

The primary objective of the Journal of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Ankara University is to create a scientific platform where scholars, cultural figures, and artists working in the fields of Fine Arts, Fine Arts Education, Traditional Arts, and the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, Museum Studies, and Museum Education, and to contribute to research in these fields at both the national and international levels.

The entire process for submitting articles to our journal is conducted through DergiPark. When submitting articles, authors must ensure that their manuscripts comply with our formatting guidelines, include their ORCID numbers, and upload the Copyright Form, the AI Use Declaration Form, and the ethics committee approval for research articles to the DergiPark system along with the manuscript. The relevant forms can be accessed under the “Author Guidelines” section. Plagiarism reports are generated by our journal’s secretariat using the iThenticate program and uploaded to the system.

Our journal, which continues its publication in the “e-journal” format, provides free access to all issues through DergiPark as part of its open access policy. Article submissions are made via the access and usage service provided by the DergiPark Open Journal System and through the relevant webpage on the DergiPark system.
