Journal of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Ankara University; It aims to bring together high-quality research, compilations, and reviews related to the fields of Art, Design, Art Education, Art Sciences, Art Criticism, Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, and Museology, while remaining open to interdisciplinary approaches in these areas, and to contribute to academic and scientific research by highlighting current and diverse perspectives. It is a national, peer-reviewed journal published twice a year.
In the Journal of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Ankara University: Fine Arts, Art History, Photography, Design (Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Stage and Costume Design, Textile and Fashion Design, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Visual Communication Design) Music, Performing Arts, Crafts, Traditional Arts, Art Education, Art Criticism, Semiotics, Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, Conservation and Restoration of Artworks, Museology and Museum Education, studies in these fields are accepted, The journal accepts studies in the fields of museology and museum education. It also publishes research that establishes interdisciplinary connections with these fields.
Our journal’s target audience consists of academics, researchers, experts, relevant professionals, master’s and doctoral students, as well as undergraduate and graduate students working in the fields covered by the journal.
Our journal accepts original scientific studies prepared in the accepted subject areas that have not been previously published anywhere and are not currently under review by another journal.
Our journal is an open-access scientific journal that employs an independent, double-blind peer review system.
Manuscript submissions are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. There are no time restrictions for manuscript submission.
Our journal adheres to the ethical publishing principles published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the open access and ethical publishing principles adopted by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), it conducts its publication processes in accordance with these international standards.
