AUJEF Is Transitioning to a Continuous Publication Model
As the AUJEF, we are pleased to announce that, starting in 2026, we will transition to a "Continuous Publication Model" to make our publishing process faster, more accessible, and more current. In this context, our journal is moving away from the traditional issue-based publishing approach and adopting a model focused on publishing articles rather than issues.
With this new model, accepted manuscripts will no longer wait for an issue publication date; once the final checks are finished, they will be published immediately. As a result, our authors’ work will reach the scholarly community more quickly, and our readers will have faster access to current research.
The key features of the Continuous Publication model are as follows:
• The focus is on the article: Publications are organized around individual articles, not issues.
• The publication date is crucial: What matters is each article’s own publication date; issues do not have a separate publication date.
• Automatic ordering: Articles are automatically listed by the system according to their publication date.
We believe this transition will enhance AUJEF’s publishing workflow for both authors and readers, contributing to the quicker dissemination of scholarly knowledge. We thank all our stakeholders for their ongoing support and wish our new publishing model great success for our journal and the field of educational sciences.
