Retrospective Evaluation of Postoperative Lung Complications

Abstract

The results of postoperative lung complications in 5476 patients examined in this study can be summarized as follows.
1. Complications developed in 4% of the patients who underwent surgery.
2 — The first three places in lung complications after surgery are; Bronchitis (64.5), Pneumonia (18.5) and Atelectasis (9.7).
3 — More complications were seen in infants and the elderly.
4 — According to the type of surgery: complications are significantly more in upper abdominal surgeries than in lower abdominal surgeries and other surgeries.
5 — More complications have been detected in men than in women.

Abstract

Bu araştırmada incelenen 5476 hastada görülen ameliyat sonrası akciğer komplikasyonu sonuçları şöyle özetlenebilir.
1 Ameliyat olan hastalarda % 4 oranında komplikasyon gelişmiştir.
2 — Ameliyat sonrası akciğer komplikasyonlarında ilk üç sıra yı; Bronşit 64.5), Pnömoni 18.5) ve atalektazi 9.7) almakta-
3 — Bebeklerde ve yaşlılarda daha çok komplikasyon görülmüştür.
4 — Ameliyat yerine göre : üst karın ameliyatlarında komplikasyon, gerek alt karın ameliyatları ve gerekse diğer ameliyatlara göre hissedilir derecede fazladır,
5 — Kadınlara göre erkeklerde daha fazla komplikasyon tesbit edilmiştir,
