Romatoid Artrit ve Safra Taşı

Abstract

Tanıları otopsi ile de teyit edilen 83 rumatoid artritli hastaların 48'inde safra kesesi taşı bulundu. Bu safra taşı oranı hastaların o 51.8ini teşkil etmekte olup, yaş-cinse göre yapılan kontrol grubuna oranla (o 26.5) önemli derecede yüksektir(p<0.001). Bu bulgu, rumatoid artritli hastalarda yeni bir sindirim sistemi bozukluğunun olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır

Abstract

Forty eight of 83 patients with rheumatoid arthritişs which were studied at autopsy had cholelithiasis. This represents a prevalence rate of 57.8 , which is significantly above the rate in a age -sex matched non -rhreumatoid controls (26.5 %). This finding adds a new gastrointestinal abnormality in the
patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
