Abstract

In the gastric juice of duodenal ulcer patients GPE,- like activity Was İower than in controls. The difference was not statisticaly importent, Therefore orally used PG's should not beecpected to treat PG deficiency and hence duodenal ulcer. PGE,-like activity was higher in gastric ulcer patients when compared With duode- nal ulcer patients and control.

Mide Ve Duedenum Ülseri Bulunan Hastalarda Mide Suyundaki Prostaglandin Miktarı

Abstract

Duodenum ülseri bulunan hastalarımızda mide suyundaki PGE.'ye benzer aktivite seviyeleri kontrol gurubuna göre düşük bulunmuştur, Ancak bu düşüklük istatistiki bakımdan anlamlı değildir. Bu nedenle oral kullanılan pristaglandin'in duodenum ülserlilerde PG yetersizliğini gidermek yoluyla etkili olması beklenemez, Mide ülseri bulunan hastalarda ise mide suyundaki PGE,'ye benzer aktivite kontrol ve duodenum ülserli hasta grubuna göre yüksek bulunmuştur.
