Eosinophilic Variant of Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma: A Case Report

Abstract

The most common malignant tumor of the kidney are clear cell renal cell carcinomas. Clear cell renal cell carcionma is the most commontype of renal cell carcinomas. It is seen an adults in the sixth and seventh decades and of adults. It is seen 2-3 times more in men than inwomen. Prognosis is worse compared to other species. Since eosinophilic variant clear cell carcinomas are highly aggressive and poorprognosis tumors, it is very important to diagnose them. In this article, we present a 55-yar-old female patient with left kidney tumor withleft flank pain. As a result of histological and immunohistochemical examination, the tumor was diagnosed as eosinophilic variant clear cellcarcinoma.

Eozinofilik Varyant Berrak Hücreli Renal Hücreli Karsinom: Bir Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Böbreğin en sık görülen malign tümörü berrak hücreli renal hücreli karsinomlardır. Berrak hücreli renal hücreli karsinom, renal hücreli karsinomların en sık görülen türüdür. Erişkinlerde altıncı ve yedinci dekadlarda, erkeklerde kadınlara göre 2-3 kat daha fazla görülmektedir. Diğer türlerle karşılaştırıldığında prognozu daha kötüdür. Eozinofilik varyant berrak hücreli karsinomlar ise oldukça agresif ve kötü prognozlu tümörlerdir. Bu yüzden bu tümörlerin tanısını koymak oldukça önemlidir. Bu yazıda sol yan ağrısı şikayeti olan 55 yaşında kadın hastanın böbrek tümörü sunulmaktadır. Yapılan histolojik ve immünhistokimyasal inceleme sonucunda tümör eozinofilik varyant berrak hücreli karsinom tanısı almıştır.
