OMUZ ENJEKSİYONU SONRASI GELİŞEN SEPTİK ARTRİT OLGU SUNUMU

Year 2014, Volume: 3 Issue: 2, 118 - 121, 31.08.2014

Abstract

Omuz ağrısının en sık nedenlerinden biri subakromial sıkışma sendromudur. Tedavide öncelikle konservatif tedavi uygulanır. Konservatif tedavide nonsteroid antiinflamatuar ilaçlar, sıcak-soğuk uygulamalar, fizik tedavi yöntemleri ve subakromial bölgeye steroid enjeksiyonu kullanılabilir. Omuza kortikosteroid enjeksiyonu sonrası septik artrit nadir görülen fakat gelişebilecek sonuçları açısından ciddi bir komplikasyondur. Bu yazımızda subakromial sıkışma sendromu nedeniyle subakromial bölgeye steroid enjeksiyonunu takiben septik artirit gelişen bir olguyu sunduk.

SEPTIC ARTHRITIS DEVELOPED AFTER SHOULDER İNJECTION CASE REPORT

Year 2014, Volume: 3 Issue: 2, 118 - 121, 31.08.2014

Abstract

One of the most common cause of shoulder pain is subacromial impingiment syndrome. İn treatment conservative treatment applied first. İn conservative treatment nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs, heat-cold application, physiotherapy methods ve steroid injections to subacromial region are usable. Septic arthritis after corticosteroid injection to shoulder is rare but a serious complication in terms of results may develop. İn this article we reported a case septic arthtitis developed after steroid injection to subacromial region because of subacromial impingiment syndrome.
