Bir Salgın Örneği Olarak Covid-19 Salgını ve Bunun Riskli Popülasyonda Yer Alan Sağlık Çalışanları Üzerine Etkileri

Year 2020, Volume: 9 Issue: 2, 121 - 126, 31.08.2020

Abstract

The Covid-19 disease, declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organization, which occurred in Wuhan province of China and was seen in other parts of China and in different countries within a month due to the high contagiousness and rapid spread of the disease, has left the whole world under its influence. It manifested itself with the birth of economic and social losses, especially health, and it was included in the records as a global disaster in the twenty-first century. Fear caused by uncertainties about illness and possible fatal consequences has profoundly affected human life. In this outbreak, healthcare workers were affected by both direct and indirect negativities of the pandemic. In this context, in this study, our aim is to reveal situations that healthcare professionals at risk may encounter. Thus, it is envisaged to increase awareness, to provide the necessary trainings and to take and implement measures earlier in similar situations and to include them in disaster plans.
