DEĞİŞİM VE STRATEJİ YÖNETİMİNE İLİŞKİN YENİ BİR ÖNERME: DİKKAT ODAKLI YAKLAŞIM

Abstract

Örgütler, sürdürülebilirliğe ilişkin öngörülerini ortaya koyarken özellikle yapısal değişimlerini ve süreçte elde edecekleri kazanımları çevrenin varlığı ile kendi değerlerini belirlemeye çalışarak ortaya koyarlar. Yöneticilerin özellikle etkinlik, verimlilik, vizyon, karlılık
gibi çok sayıda aracın işe yararlılığını pazar gerçekliği bağlamında denemesi, karşılık araması ve nihayetinde rekabet için anlamlı kılması öngörülerinin tutarlılığı ile değer kazanmaktadır. Özellikle 20.yüzyılın sonlarına doğru yeni ekonomi, yeni dünya ve yeni pazarlar
gibi çok sayıda büyüme ve değişim argümanı tutarlılığı zorlaştırırken, çevresel uyarıcıların
artması ile bilginin nitel ve nicel bağlamda daha çok değer kazanması yöneticileri yöntem
ve araçlar bakımından çok sayıda seçenekle karşı karşıya bırakmaktadır. Akademik önermeler bu arayışların karşılığını vermeye çalışırken, dar bir zaman aralığı içerisinde çok sayıda çalışmanın üretilmesi dikkat çekmektedir.
Dikkat odaklı yaklaşımda bu çalışmalardan yeni olanlardan birisi olarak literatürde yerini
almaya çalışmaktadır. Her ne kadar 1940’lı yıllarda ilk olarak Simon tarafından söz edilmiş
olsa da literatürde yaygın olarak çalışılması, biçimlendirilmesi, stratejik yönetim ve örgütlerin değişimi ile olan ilgisi 1990’lı yıllardan itibaren Ocasio tarafından dile getirilmiştir.
Dikkat Odaklı Yaklaşımın ortaya çıkış gerekçesi tanım ve kavramsal çerçeve bağlamında
ele alınmış, literatür ile ilgili çalışmanın ardından kavramın örgüt ve yönetim için strateji ile
değişim bağlamında neyi/neleri anlattığı ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır

A New Proposal for the Management of Change and Strategy: Attention Based View

Abstract

While organizations declare their foresights about sustainability, they present
the structural change in their organizations and gains through the process by trying to
determine the existence of environment and their own value . The managers’ testing the
utilities of many tools – especially such as effiency, productivity, vision, and profitabilityin the context of market realities and trying to understand what’s their correspondance in
theories and so using them in competition become valuable when they meet the consistency
of foresights. Especially by the late 20th century, while many arguments of growth and
change –like new economy and new markets- make consistency more difficult, the rise
in the environmental stimulus and the rise in the value of informatin qualititively make
variable options in methods and tools for managers. While academic proposals try to
response to these pursuit the number of academic studies becomes significant.
These studies take place in the literature as attention based view. Until 1940s, only Simon
mentioned these studies but then, by 1990s, how often they are studied in literature,
how they are structured, and how they are related to strategic method and the change of
organizations were handled by Occasion. Through this article, the reasons of the emergence
of Attention Based View is handled within theoretical frame and with its definitions, and
then I try to discuss what this concept presents for organization and strategy in the context
of strategy and change.
