Türkiye’deki işletmelerde nesnelerin interneti: Uygulamadaki engeller üzerine bir araştırma

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de faaliyet gösteren işletmelerde Nesnelerin İnternetinin uygulamasının önündeki engellerin araştırılması ve önem sıralamalarının saptanması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaçları gerçekleştirmek için karma bir araştırma yöntemi tasarlanmıştır. Üç aşamadan oluşan bu araştırmada ilk iki aşamada Delphi yöntemi, üçüncü aşamada ise AHP (Analitik Hiyerarşi Süreci) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Delphi yöntemiyle Nesnelerin İnternetinin uygulanmasında karşılaşılan engellerin belirlenmesi hedeflenmiş, AHP yöntemiyle ise Delphi yöntemiyle belirlenen bu engellerden hangilerinin daha kritik olduğu saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda sistem kurulum maliyeti, operasyon ve işletim maliyeti, yatırımın geri dönüş süresinin uzun olması, teknolojilerdeki değişime karşı insanların gösterdiği direnç ve internet altyapısının yetersizliği engelleri ilk sıralarda yer almıştır.

The internet of things in businesses in Turkey: A research on the barriers in practice

Abstract

In the study, it was aimed to determine the barriers in the practice of the Internet of Things in businesses operating in Turkey. In line with this purpose, a mixed research method was designed. In the study which comprised of three stages, in the first two stages, Delphi method was used, while in the third stage, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was employed. By using the Delphi method, it was aimed to identify the barriers experienced in the practice of the Internet of Things, and with the AHP method, the purpose was to determine which of the barriers identified with the Delphi method was more critical. As a result of the study, it was found that system setup cost, operational cost, the long period of investment return, human resistance to the changes in technology, and inadequacy in the infrastructure of the Internet were determined to be the leading barriers.
