EMPLOYE SİLENCE: A DESCRİPTİVE ANALYSİS BASED ON THEORETİCAL APPROACHES

Abstract

In this research, it is intended to explain phenomenon of employee silence based on various theories. In accordance with this purpose, many theories that exist on the silence and management and organization litaratures are investigated. Theories have a structure that describes phenomenon of employee silence had been aveluated,descriptive analyzes were carried out. The research results have revealed that employee silence handled mainly in the context of sociological and psychological theories. Also, for the first time,Equity Theory and the Operant Conditioning Theory have been put forward to explain employee silence plenomenon through descriptive analysis of the phenomenon.
