Elastic Analysis of an Hollow Cylinder Made from Functionally Graded Material Exposed to Internal Pressure

Abstract

Kalın cidarlı kabuklar, gemi ve denizaltı gövdeleri, basınçlı kaplar, taşınabilir basınçlı tüpler, içinden basınçlı akışkan geçen borular, otoklavlar, hidrofor sistemleri, buhar ve kalorifer kazanları, uçak kanatları, nükleer santrallerin muhafaza yapıları, roketlerin dış kısımları, füzeler, otomobil lastikleri, beton çatılar, bacalar, soğutma kuleleri, tehlikeli sıvıların depolandığı tanklar ve depolar gibi birçok yapılar mühendislik uygulamalarında yaygın olarak kullanılan yapısal unsurlardır. İç veya dış basınca maruz bu tarz kalın çeperli küresel kabuklar, geçmişte birçok araştırmacı tarafından incelenen mühendislik mekaniğinin klasik problemlerden birisi olmuşlardır[1-11]. Tasarımı esnasında, karşılaşabileceği basınçlara dayanabilecek uygun malzemelerin
seçilmesi hem patlama felaketlerinin önüne geçilmesi hem de görevini hasara uğramadan yerine getirebilmesi açısından son derece önemlidir. İç basınca maruz kalın cidarlı silindirik basınçlı kaplar endüstride yaygın olarak kullanıldığı için elastik analizi de mühendislik uygulamalarında oldukça önemlidir
