-The number of issues published per year may increase if there is a high number of requests for evaluation from researchers. Each issue publishes different types of articles
(reviews, etc.), with at least 5 original research articles.
-The journal's publication language is English, and articles written in English are accepted.
-The journal accepts clinical and experimental articles emphasizing molecular, cellular, and functional bases in the fields of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, Meta-analysis, Neuroscience, and Stem Cell research, Biotechnology, Clinical Research, Metabolism and Chronic Diseases, Forensic Biology, based on plant, animal, cell line, and human studies: only original articles are accepted.
Reviewer Guidelines
-Peer review is the system used to assess the quality of an article before it's published. Independent reviewers in the relevant research field evaluate submitted articles for their originality, validity, and significance to decide whether the article should be published in the journal.
-Erciyes BioGenome Journal uses a single-blind peer review system, meaning it knows the names of both reviewers and authors. However, the reviewer reports provided to authors are anonymous, and reviewers are not given information about the authors. Single-blind peer review is an advantageous evaluation policy as it's a traditional peer review model that many reviewers are comfortable with, and it facilitates an impartial critique of an manuscript.
-Two or more reviewers will be asked to evaluate whether the submitted manuscript is scientifically sound and coherent, if it duplicates previously published work, whether it is sufficiently clear for publication, and if it adheres to ethical guidelines.
-Editors will decide on the publication of a manuscript based on the reports received from reviewers, consulting with Editorial Board members when necessary.
-All reports and evaluations are communicated through the journal management system.
Reviewer Responsibilities
-Accept assignments only within their area of expertise.
-Submit their review reports within the designated timeframe.
-Conduct evaluations impartially. Nationality, gender, religious beliefs, political beliefs, commercial interests, or other considerations should not influence the review.

-Use academic and constructive language. Hostile or derogatory comments are unacceptable.
-Report any potentially unethical conduct or content via the journal's email address (e-mail: biogenome@erciyes.edu.tr ).
