AUTHORSHIP

To qualify as an author, individuals must meet all four of the following criteria recommended by the Erciyes BioGenome:

-Every individual listed as an author must meet the authorship criteria recommended by the International Committee of Erciyes BioGenome (Erciyes BioGenome -www.erciyesbiogenome.org).

-Beyond being responsible for their own contributions, authors should have confidence in the integrity of their co-authors' contributions. Each author should also be able to identify which co-authors are responsible for specific parts of the work.

-Everyone designated as an author must meet all four of the defined authorship criteria above, and everyone who meets all four criteria should be identified as an author. It is the joint responsibility of the authors, not the journal to which the work is submitted, to ensure that those who do not meet all four criteria are not listed as authors.

-As part of the manuscript submission, the corresponding author must also provide a brief statement affirming their acceptance of full responsibility for authorship throughout the submission and review stages of the manuscript.

-The Editor is responsible for protecting intellectual property and defending the rights of both the journal and its author(s).

-Contributions that don't meet the authorship criteria should be listed in the "Acknowledgments" section.

-Conflicts of interest, financial support, grants, all other significant contributions (like statistical analysis or language editing), and/or technical assistance, if applicable, should be stated at the end of the text.

Substantial Contributions: They must have made significant contributions to the conception or design of the work; or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of datas for the work.

Revision: They must have revised it critically for important intellectual content.

Final Approval: They must provide final approval of the version to be published.

Accountability: They must agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work, ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.

-Authors must clearly state whether any financial and/or non-financial support was received during this study from any pharmaceutical company, medical device/equipment/material provider or manufacturer, or any commercial firm. This includes any support that could negatively influence decisions related to the study's evaluation process.

-Authors must clearly state whether there was any area of conflict of interest during the preparation of the study, including datas collection, interpretation of results, and manuscript writing stages.

-If the proposed publication relates to a commercial product, the author(s) must include a statement declaring that they have no financial or other interest in the product, or explain the nature of any relationship (including consultancies) between the author(s) and the product's manufacturer or distributor.

-The "Conflict of Interest Statement" found in the author forms must be signed by all authors.

-Erciyes BioGenome Journal requires a Copyright Agreement to be submitted with every manuscript. By signing this form, authors retain the copyright to their work. They also agree that if the article is accepted for publication by the Journal of Molecular Advances in Multidisciplinary Research, it will be licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND) 4.0 International license.

-When using figures, tables, and similar content previously published in print or electronic format, the author(s) must obtain permission from the copyright holder. All legal, financial, and penal responsibilities regarding this matter rest solely with the author(s).

Correction and Retraction Requests
-Spelling errors in author names, affiliations, article titles, abstracts, keywords, and digital object identifiers (DOIs) can be corrected with an erratum.

Requests for retraction are also subject to Editorial Board approval.

-The statements or opinions expressed in articles published in the Erciyes BioGenome reflect those of the author(s), not necessarily those of the editors, editorial board, or publisher.

-The editors, editorial board, and publisher do not accept any responsibility or liability for such material.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE AUTHORS

MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

Main Text

-Please submit your article as a Word document prepared with Times New Roman, 12-point font, and double-spaced. Do not submit your manuscript in PDF format.
Cover Letter
-A cover letter must be included with the submission, and it should state the corresponding author's complete contact information (affiliation, mailing address, email address, and phone number). Authors must also disclose if they have previously published or submitted any article related to the same work.

Title Page

-The title page should include the article's title, the full names and surnames of all authors, and the email, mailing addresses for all authors and affilations.
If the article has been previously presented as a communiqué (paper presented at a conference), the venue and date of the presentation must be stated.

Title

-Titles should be concise, specific, and informative. For scientific articles, avoid overly general titles, declarative titles, titles that reveal the direction of study results, or titles in the form of a question. For reports of clinical trials, meta-analyses, and systematic reviews, include the study type as a subtitle (e.g., Randomized Clinical Trial, Meta-analysis, Systematic Review, etc.).

Abstract

-The abstract should not contain references, figures, or table numbers. It must be between 250-300 words and cover the introduction, aim, materials and methods, findings, and discussion.
Keywords
-Keywords should be limited to 2-5 words and separated by semicolons (;). They must be listed in alphabetical order.

Abbreviations

-Any abbreviations used in the journal must be nationally or internationally accepted, defined in the text upon their first use, and placed in parentheses. Thereafter, the abbreviation should be used consistently throughout the text. For commonly accepted abbreviations and usage, please refer to "Scientific Style and Format" (https://www.scientificstyleandformat.org/Home.html).

Figures, Images, Tables, and Graphs

-The places where figures, images, tables, and graphs appear in the text must be indicated at the end of the relevant sentence and numbered.
- Figure legends, images, tables, and graphs must be provided in a separate Word document.
-Figures, images/photos must be added to the system as separate Jpg files (8 cm in width, and scanned at 300 dpi resolution).
-All abbreviations used must be stated in the caption below the figures, images, tables, and graphs.
-If previously published figures, images, tables, or graphs are used, written permission must be obtained, and this permission must be stated in the caption for the figure, image, table, or graph.
-Images/photos must be colorful, with sufficient contrast and clarity to show details. All information that could identify a person or institution in the visuals must be concealed.

Statistical Evaluation

-All retrospective, prospective, and experimental research articles must be biostatistically evaluated and presented with appropriate design, analysis, and reporting.
-The statistical tests used, along with the name and version of the statistical programs, must be clearly stated in the Materials and Methods section.
-Such explanations should include appropriate references to the original literature, especially for uncommon statistical tests and methods.
-Submitted articles are checked by the biostatistics editors if deemed necessary.
-Adherence to biostatistical rules in articles is the authors' responsibility.

Manuscript Category

Only original articles are published in Erciyes BioGenome Journal. Please refer to Table 1 for limitations regarding articles.
Table 1: Limitations

Original Articles

Original articles must provide new information based on original research. The main text should be structured with the following subheadings:
-Introduction
-Materials and Methods
-Results
-Discussion
-Conflict of Interest
-Author Contributions
-Acknowledgments
-Ethical Approval (If ethical committee approval was obtained for the study, include the name of the relevant ethics committee and the ethics approval number.)
-Financial Support (If the study was supported by an institution, include the name of the supporting institution; if supported under a project, include the project support number.)

Abstract:

The abstract for research articles should be 250-300 words and include the Aim, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion. It should be written in English and should not contain references.

Introduction:

The Introduction should cite relevant literature and clearly state the originality, scope, and aim of the study, supported by references.

Materials and Methods:

-Clearly and comprehensively describe all analyses, procedures, and experiments conducted in the study, supporting them with relevant references.
- List the names, brands, and catalog numbers of all consumables and fixed assets (e.g., microscopes, imaging systems) used during the study.
- If ethical committee approval was obtained for the study, include the name of the relevant ethics committee and the ethics approval number.

Compliance with Research Ethics Standards:

-All manuscripts involving human subjects must include a statement confirming that the study was approved by an institutional review board or a similar official research ethics review committee.

-If your institution lacks such a committee, you must provide a statement confirming the research was conducted in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki (www.ma.net/e/policy/b3.htm). Additionally, there must be a statement indicating whether informed consent was obtained from the research subjects.

Results

-Present your results clearly, concisely, and without interpretation.
-Include statistical analysis results in this section to support your findings, where applicable.

Discussion
Explain your findings and relate them to the results of other authors. Then, describe their significance for clinical practice. The limitations, disadvantages, or shortcomings of the study should also be discussed in this section, preceding the concluding paragraph.

References
- The reference list, APA Style 7 must be used.
- References should be written using computer programs (such as Mendeley).

In Text Citations
-In-text citations must be formatted using APA Style 7.

Revisions

When submitting a revised version of an article, authors must provide a "Response to Reviewers" document. This document should detail how each question from the reviewers was addressed, including where the changes can be found (each reviewer's comment, followed by the author's response and the line numbers where changes were made). Additionally, an annotated copy of the main document should be submitted.
Revised manuscripts must be submitted within 30 days from the date of the decision letter. If the revised article is not submitted within the given timeframe, the revision option may be canceled. If the submitting author(s) believe they need additional time, they must request an extension before the initial 30-day period expires.
All spelling and grammar errors in submitted articles are corrected by our editorial committee without altering the presented datas.

PUBLICATION PROCESS

Accepted manuscripts will be made available and citable online as rapidly as possible. The stages of publication are as follows;
-Uncorrected publication: A PDF of the final, accepted (but unedited and uncorrected) paper will be published online on the journal web page under the “Accepted Articles” section. A DOI will be assigned to the article at this stage.
-Ahead-of-print publication: After copy editing, typesetting, and review of the resulting proof, the final corrected version will be added online in the “Ahead-of-Print” section.
-Final publication: The final corrected version will appear in an issue of the journal and added to the journal website. To ensure rapid publication, we ask authors to provide your publication approval during the proofreading process as quickly as possible, and return corrections within 48 hours of receiving the proof.
