Biological parameters of <em>Graphosoma lineatum</em> L. (Heteroptera, Pentatomidae) feeding on seeds of plants from Apiaceae family and suitable food selection
Abstract
Graphosoma lineatum L. (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) whichis the suitable host of Sunn pest egg parasitoids Trissolcus (Hymenoptera, Scelionidae) must be reared in laboratory for the parasitoid production. In this research, fecundity, adult lifespans as male and female, preoviposition, oviposition, postoviposition and total generation times, and total nymph development duration of G. lineatum feeding on different plant seeds [Astrodaucus orientalis (L.), Conium maculatum (L.), Daucus carota (L.), Heracleum platytaenium (Boiss.), Pimpinella anisum L. and Torilis arvensis (Huds.)] from Apiaceae were determined. So, the suitable food was tried to determine. Studies were carried out in laboratory under 25±1 °C temperature, 45±5 % RH and 16 hours photoperiod conditions. As the result of study, P. anisum seed was seen most available food, seeds of Astrodaucus orientalis (L.), Daucus carota (L.)and Torilis arvensis (Huds.) were not suitable foods for G. lineatum.

Abstract
Graphosoma lineatum L. (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) süne yumurta parazitoitleri olan Trissolcus (Hymenoptera, Scelionidae) türlerinin uygun konukçusudur. Bu nedenle parazitoitlerin üretimi için bu türün kitle üretiminin laboratuarda yapılması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada, buna yönelik olarak G. lineatum'un Apiaceae familyasından bazı bitkilerin [Astrodaucus orientalis (L.), Conium maculatum (L.) (Baldıran), Daucus carota (L.) (Yabani havuç), Heracleum platytaenium (Boiss.), Pimpinella anisum L. (Anason) ve Torilis arvensis (Huds.)] tohumları üzerinde nimf gelişim süresi ile erginlerin yumurta verimi, preovipozisyon, ovipozisyon, postovipozisyon ve yaşam süresi ile ortalama döl sürelerine bakılmıştır. Böylece, uygun besin saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Denemeler 25±1 ºC sıcaklık, %45±5 orantılı nem ve 16 saatlik aydınlanma koşullarındaki iklim odasında yürütülmüştür. Çalışma sonucunda P. anisum tohumlarının G. lineatum için en uygun besin olduğu A. orientalis, D. carota ve T. arvensis tohumlarının ise uygun besin olmadığı kanısına varılmıştır.
