Abstract
Hydatid cyst is a Larvar infection caused by the parasite Echinococcus granulosus. It is endemic in our country. Although is often localized in the liver and lung, primary retroperitoneal placement rarely occurs. If retroperitoneal hydatic cyst is seen, further diagnosis should be made. For removal, total or partial excision of the cyst along with treatment of cyst contents in the abdominal cavity without the infection is done. Retroperitoneal lesions should be considered in the differential diagnosis. In this report two primary retroperitoneal hydatic cyst cases were presented

Abstract
Hidatik kist Echinococcus granulosus'un larvarının neden olduğu paraziter bir enfeksiyondur. Ülkemizde endemiktir. Sıklıkla karaciğer ve akciğer yerleşimli olmakla birlikte, primer retroperitoneal yerleşim nadir olarak görülmektedir. Retroperitoneal kist hidatik ile karşılaşıldığında mutlaka başka odak araması yapılmalıdır. Tedavi total veya parsiyel kist eksizyonu ile birlikte kist içeriğinin karın içine bulaştırılmadan çıkarılmasıdır. Retroperitoneal lezyonların ayrıcı tanısında mutlaka akla getirilmelidir. Bu olgu sunumunda primer retroperitoneal yerleşimli iki kist hidatik olgusu sunulmuştur.
