Author Guidelines

Submissions to BRIQ may be written in Turkish or English. Scholarly articles should be between 5,000 and 9,000 words, including abstracts, notes, references, and all other content. Articles should include an abstract of no more than 200 words, 5 keywords, and an anonymized manuscript file. A separate cover page containing full author information should also be submitted.

BRIQ follows the APA 7th edition citation and reference style. American English spelling is used for English-language articles. All in-text citations must appear in the reference list, and all references must be cited in the text. Tables, figures, graphs, and visuals should be numbered and should include clear titles and source information.

Book reviews should not exceed 1,000 words. Research or review essays covering two or more works may be up to 3,000 words. Newsletters containing short analyses of current developments should not exceed 1,500 words. Lead articles combining reporting and analysis may be up to 3,500 words. No fee is charged for manuscript submission or publication.
