The success of the tourism sector depends on its qualified workforce. Moral identity and motivational stability are important for the quality of the employees. Tourism education institutions provide the majority of the employees needed in the tourism sector. Therefore, the quality of the workforce has a close relationship with both the training and personal characteristics. The purpose of this paper is to determine whether the moral identity of higher education students who studying tourism have any effect on their motivational stability. The reason why the study was carried out on higher education students is that their characters, which were shaped at the last stage before they embarked on their professional life, may also affect the success in the industry. The research was carried out through an online survey between 25.03.2020-19.04.2020. The data were collected from 313 students who studying in the tourism departments of Turkish universities. According to the data obtained from the analyzes, moral identity has a positive and significant effect on motivational stability. These data are considered important in terms of tourism strategies and employment policies.
