Bayterek Journal of International Academic Research

BAYTEREK aims to present scholars solution proposals of scholars working in different fields of science to deal with the historical and current problems of their fields in a scientific manner and announce them to the scientific world in the national and international level. In line with this aim, it aims to increase the understanding of the subjects covered in scientific studies and to contribute to its development.

Bayterek International Journal of Academic Research (BIJAR) invites authors to contribute to 3 main subject areas. These are primarily Language, Folklore and Educational Sciences.

Title: Not to exceed twelve (12) words (suggested), Times New Roman font, (14) points, capital letters and bold, the second language equivalent should be placed under the title in parentheses with only the first letters capitalized, and twelve (12) ) should be typed in point. If the study is written in Turkish, the second language is English; If written in English, the second language is Turkish. If it is written in other languages, the second language is Turkish or English.

Name of the Author: Under the title, the first letter of the name should be capitalized, the surname should be written in capital letters, a footnote number related to the surname and the title, university (institution), e-mail address and ORCID number should be given as footnotes at the bottom of the first page, respectively. Other author names should be given under the first name in the same way.

Abstract: At the beginning of the study, there should be a Turkish summary of at least 150 words and at most 300 words, briefly expressing the subject. If the work is in other languages, the abstract should be given in the language in which it was written and in either Turkish or English. Keywords should be given below the abstract, not exceeding 3 and maximum 6 words. Keywords should be written in lowercase letters, separated by semicolons. Keywords should be compatible with the article content and should be inclusive. In the abstract, references to the sources used, figure and table numbers, etc. should not be included.

Extended Abstract (Summary): After the abstract of the article, a structured English summary of minimum 750 to 1000 words should be added under the Summary heading. Keywords should be given under the extended abstract, not exceeding at least 3 and maximum 6 words. Keywords should be written in lowercase letters, separated by semicolons. Keywords should be compatible with the article content and should be inclusive.

Main Text: On A4 size (29.7x21 cm.) papers, in MS Word program, Times New Roman font and normal font style, 12 point, 1.5 line spacing; Paragraph spacing should be written as 6 pt first and then 0 pt. Footnotes should be written in 10 points. 2 cm margins should be left on the page margins and the pages should be numbered. The study should not exceed six thousand (6000) words, including the abstract and structured summary, excluding the bibliography. The parts that need to be emphasized in the text should be written in italic letters, not bold. Double emphases such as quotation marks and italic letters should not be included in the text. The citation rate in the study should not be more than 10%.

Bayterek International Journal of Academic Research, which started its publication life in 2018, is published twice a year, in June and December, excluding special issues. One volume is created per year.
Articles published in Bayterek International Journal of Academic Research are shared free of charge with the readers on the journal's website.
Studies to be published in Bayterek International Journal of Academic Research are published in either Turkish or English. An English summary is required for studies to be published in Turkish, and a Turkish summary requirement for studies to be published in English. However, articles written in other languages may be included in each issue, not exceeding one third of the journal.
The copyrights of the studies accepted to be published in Bayterek International Journal of Academic Research belong to Bayterek International Journal of Academic Research. İntellectual and scientific writings; the legal responsibility of the translations belongs to the authors/translators. In articles with two or more authors, the copyright of the article belongs to the first author. The articles and photographs published in the journal can be cited by showing the source.
Studies accepted to be published in Bayterek International Journal of Academic Research must not have been published elsewhere before. Responsibility in this regard belongs to the author/authors.
Submission of Articles and Publication Process

Studies submitted to the journal for publication are firstly examined by the editorial board in terms of purpose, subject, content and writing rules. Academic impartiality and scientific quality are the main criteria in the evaluation of the studies submitted for publication. Studies that are found suitable are sent to three (3) referees who have been accepted with their works and studies in their fields, in line with the opinion of the members of the editorial board, with the names of the authors of the study hidden, and the authors are not informed about the referee's name.
Studies with at least two (2) positive referee reports are published. The authors take into account the criticisms, corrections and suggestions of the referees, editor and editorial board. Authors can present the points that they disagree with the opinions of the referees, editor and editorial board, together with their justifications, to the editorial board.
