Geological structures encountered in our area of study are generally represented by Paleozoic , Mesozoic , Neogen e and Quaternar y formations. Namely :
Paleozoic : Phyllites, argillaceous schists, sericite-schists, graywackes;
Mesozoic : Marbles and crystalline limestones;
Neogene : White-colored, continental lake deposits;
Quaternary : New alluviums.
So far as magmatism is concerned, our area was exposed to underwater initial volcanic activities that took place during the Mesozoic era. As a result of this, ophiolites (green rocks),
products of underwater volcanism, are plentiful in the area.
Here the oldest Paleozoic formations of the main foundation were exposed to Hercynia n
movements; while respectively Mesozoic and Neogene formations were exposed to Laramia n
and alpin e movements
Paleozoik : Fillit, killi-şist, klorit-şist, serisit-şist ve grauvaklardan;
Mesozoik : Mermer ve kristalin kalkerlerden;
Neojen : Beyaz renkli karasal göl kalkerlerinden;
