Protea’da Morfolojik, Verim ve Çiçek Kalite Özellikleri Arasındaki İlişkiler

Abstract

Bu çalışma, protealarda bazı morfolojik, verim ve çiçek kalite özellikleri arasındaki ilişkileri değerlendirmek için yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla morfolojik özelliklerden toplam sürgün sayısı, sprey sürgün sayısı, kör sürgün sayısı, yaprak eni, yaprak boyu, yaprak alan; verim özelliklerinden pazarlanabilir verim ve dekara verim; çiçek kalite özelliklerinden çiçek sapı uzunluğu, çiçek sapı kalınlığı, çiçek baş uzunluğu, çiçek başı genişliği, çiçek renk özellikleri ve vazo ömrü arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Pazarlanabilir verim ve dekara verim değerlerinin bitkiden elde edilen toplam sürgün sayısı ( sırasıyla, 0.98** ve 0.98**) ve uç alınan sürgün sayısı (sırasıyla, 0.37** ve 0.37**) ile pozitif korelasyon gösterdiği saptanmıştır. Bitki başına elde edilen sprey sürgün sayısı ile vazo ömrü arasında negatif korelasyon (-0.35**) olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yaprak iriliğindeki artışın kör sürgün oluşumunu azalttığı ve vazo süresini uzattığı tespit edilmiştir.

Relationships Among Morphological, Yield, And Flower Quality Characteristics in Protea

Abstract

This study was carried out to evaluate the relationships among some morphological, yield and flower quality in Protea. In this study, morphological characteristics such as total number of shoots, number of spray shoots, number of flowerless shoots, leaf width, leaf length, leaf area, yield characteristics such as marketable yield and yield per decares, and flower quality characteristics such as flower quality characteristics, flower stem length, flower stem thickness, flower head length, flower head width, flower color characteristics and vase life were examined. The marketable yield and decares yield values were correlated positively with the total number of shoots per plant (respectively 0.98 ** and 0.98 **) and the number of pinched shoots (0.37 ** and 0.37**). The negative correlation between the number of sprays shoots obtained per plant and vase life (-0.35 **) was determined. It was found that the increase in leaf size decreased the formation of blind shoots and prolonged the vase life.
