Language and Spelling
The language of Çankırı Karatekin University Journal of Turkology Studies is in Turkish. However other Turkic languages, English and Russian articles are also accepted. According to the workload of the journal, the number of articles in each issue is to be decided by the Editorial Board. Articles should be prepared in accordance with the APA. In the articles and abbreviations, the Spelling Guide of the Turkish Language Institution should be followed. Articles written in Cyrillic alphabet should also include the title, abstract, keywords and references written in Latin alphabet.

Spelling Rules
Title

It should be written in 12 font size and bold letters which are compatible with the content and shouldn’t be more than 12 words. The second heading should be written in bold, italic and the first letters in capitals one line below. In-text titles -including the bibliography- should be 11 font size. One line space should be left before headings.

Author Name
Author’s name should be written under the title, justified to the right, with the first letters capitalized and bold. The information of title, institution, e-mail and ORCID should be given just below the name, justified to the right and in 9 font size.
Example: Prof. Dr., Çankırı Karatekin Üniversitesi, Edebiyat Fakültesi, Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü, Çankırı/ Türkiye, aarvas@karatekin.edu.tr, ORCID: 0000-0000-0000-0000.

Abstract
It should be written in font size 10, Times New Roman font character. The text should be justified on both sides. The abstract should be prepared with a minimum of 250 and a maximum of 500 words and should be descriptive and introductory of the research. One line space should be left under the abstract and 5 keywords should be included in here. In Turkish articles, the second abstract should be prepared in English. If the article is prepared in another language, the second abstract should be written in Turkish.

Main Text of the Article
Articles should be typed in font size 11, Times New Roman font character and single line spacing on the Word page. A margin of 2,5 cm from the top edge of the page and 2 cm from the other edges should be left. Paragraph beginnings should not be indented. The text of the article should be justified on both sides. The space between paragraphs should be 0 nk first and then 6 nk. There should be no spaces between expressions such as poem, item, quote, however, 6 nk spaces should be left before and after the paragraph. The first letters of the subheadings in the text should be capitalized, aligned to the left and in bold. It should be one space left before and after the headings. Highlighted places and book names in the text should be in italics. The author should give numbers and names to photographs, tables and figures in the text. These must not exceed one third of the text. In addition, the photos must have high resolution. Footnotes should be used for explanations in the text. Footnotes should be written in font size 9, Times New Roman font character. The in-text citation method should be used in the articles. Example: (Çobanoğlu, 2015, p. 12). In quotations with two or more authors, the surname of all authors is shown in the first reference. For other references, "etc." expression is used after the surname of the first author.
Quotations should be given in quotation marks. Long and block quotations should be written in 10 points, 1 cm inside from the both sides. Articles should not exceed 10,000 words.

Bibliography
References should be prepared in 11 font size and 1 cm hanging. The sources used in the article should be arranged alphabetically according to the surnames of the authors at the end of the text. If more than one study used in the article belongs to the same author, the writer should add a letter at the end of to the publication year of these studies: (2015a), (2015b).
